We want to welcome you to the Saratoga Springs Book and Performing Arts Club. Since we are just getting our group started, we have decided to wait till January 2009 to begin reading our first book. So stay tuned or please plug us your idea for the first book to read.
In the meantime, we are going to attend our first play A Christmas Carol. We will keep you posted which date we all will be attending the play in December.

I have started reading " The Gargoyle" - Andrew Davidson's first book. I really like his writing style and it is an engaging story so far (about 15% into the book). My only concern is that the material is R rated at times. I am perfectly okay with R rated but I dont want people to turn away from the book club because they are afraid of the book list. We are open to suggestions for our January book. Please post suggestions!
